D-Day Celebrations at Gold Beach

Talitha P in Year 12 took part in the D-Day 80 ‘We Will Remember Them’ celebrations at Gold Beach last week with the London Youth Chamber Choir. Talitha performed as an alto, singing the French and British national anthems and premiered a piece by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber written for the event called ‘Lovingly Remembered.’ According to Talitha, “It was amazing to be part of such a momentous occasion. I was so honoured to be able to sing in front of everyone at such a special event.”

This is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of Talitha for taking part in such a prestigious and important historic occasion. The service also featured one of our alumni, Olly Livingstone, who is a Royal Marine.
